Poor mom

My mom lives near my sister and me since about a year. I have to admit … it must be somekind of a challange for her to live this close to us. Not my sister is the problem … she takes it easy on my mom, but I kind of suppose it is because of me and my husband.

We can’t help it , but joke all the time. We help her out a lot with things like PC problems ( which often is just her forgetting or adding a dot somewhere with passwords where it is NOT suppose to be ), her heater, kitchenstuff , telephone … So, we have kind of a dayjob helping. But, we like it, we get along fine with her and we joke a lot. Which – in our fantasy – she likes. Though my sister sometimes says to me : ‘ Take it easy on mom ! The poor woman ‘.

Okay, now my mom lives at the second floor of an appartmentbuilding. The staircase to her appartment is GREAT. I think my nephew will agree. There is no elevator, so you HAVE to take the stairs. Not a problem, as you can do a lot there. You can stamp your feet, yell and so on and it all echoos ! It is LOVELY ( according to me, my husband and my nephew ). My mom doesn’t agree and so do a lot of neighbours , I am afraid.

Last week we had dinner at my moms and when we left … we got a little childish ( or maybe better said, we were normal, sometimes we are adults ). My mom said silently ( not to disturb the neighbours ) :  ‘ Bye.’ So, I yelled : ‘ WHAT ? ‘ … She giggled and said : ‘ Ssshhh.’ Now, that was THE SIGN for me. My husband and me started to be such asses about it and were echooing … saying her name out loud and her appartmentnumber. Heheheh … Finally we were downstairs ( I bet my mom was happy ). We came out front and I joked to my husband to yell at the street now in front of the building, waving at my mom and all. Which, according to me, was a MASTERPLAN !

My mom was at the balcony and overheard me ! She said : ‘ You will do NO such thing !!! That is as nasty as people honking their horns from their car.’

NOW PEOPLE … Need I say more ???

We entered the car … mom waving at the balcony ( happy I choose not to yell from the streets )… and my husband hit the horn ( saying to me he found she had a GREAT idea ) …

BEEP BEEP BEEEEHEEEEEPPPP !

I thought my mom was turning pale in 1 second. Hehehehe … I laughed so loud. My mom making signs like ” stop it ” and looking pretty emberassed. My husband said : ‘Does she want us to stop or did she just wave again ? I am going for waving, so ..’

BEEEPPPPP BEEPEPBEPEEPPBEEPP !!! 

I LOVE my mom. I am sure she loves me too ( in some way ) ROFLOL !

But I think she finds my sister more adult … HAHAHA.

Though I bet my nephew is on our side LOL !
