Chocolate Flakes … FUNNIES ???

Suddenly I remember a story about breakfast here, when my nephew ( yep , the little one of DutchBitch – The Dutch Files ) was staying over some days.

At breakfast the men ( nephew AND hubby ) wanted to have Chocolate Flakes at their bread. Which ‘KID’ wouldn’t , right ? Yeah yeah, here at Holland we have the GREAT product of Chocolate Flakes … all shapes, kinds … This particular brand ( Venz ) is one of the best and they go with the fashion of movies ‘flow’.

This time it was Shrek 3 ( before Ice Age … Incredibles … Happy Feet ) and that means there are bigger chunks of chocolate among the flakes. Those bigger chunks are all kinds of colours ( pink, purple, green … ) … They call them ‘FUNNIES’ as they are in the shapes of the movies-characters.
As much of a man my husband is … he gave all his funnies to my nephew. So, my nephews plate had bread with chocolate flakes and at least 10 funnies alongside.

Than he stared at me, though I didn’t have any flakes at my bread … He saw big chunks of something next to my bread and said ( kind of annoyed by the idea I kept them to myself ). ‘ Well, my UNCLE at least gave them all to ME and I see YOU have funnies too ‘. I quickly told him … he probably didn’t want my funnies … and also it would not be healthy for him to eat MY funnies. He did not agree. Until I explained that MY FUNNIES … were my medicine. They kinda carry all kinds of colours too …

He took a good look closer ( never believe your aunt the first time, she tends to lie for fun ) and agreed they looked like medicine … he passed …
